Regional Business Line Manager Paper & Board Asia (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Drive existing and new business for ACTEGA's Paper & Board in Asia (more than 10 mil. Euro turnover)
- Develop and execute customer projects in the region in alignment with the global strategic initiatives of Paper & Board (barrier and other sustainable coatings, tobacco and metallics, key account management, portfolio management)
- Direct responsibility for the largest direct customers as well as distributor and agents in the region
- Leadership of the entire P&B sales teams in China (3 FTEs) and Malaysia (2 FTEs) and guiding technical service as well as R&D priorities for the region
- Ensuring compliance with ALTANA and ACTEGA guidelines and corporate governance while doing business with customers and partners

Requirements
- Technical or business academic background
- Understanding of the paper-based packaging market and different printing technologies (offset, flexo, gravure, digital)
- Experience with coatings and / or other consumables
- Chemical and regulatory basic know-how
- Leadership experience
- Fluent in English. Any Asian language is welcome. German not necessary
- Willing to travel extensively within Asia (approx. 75%)
- Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset with personal experience in Asia
- Detailed, yet agile working style
- Talented in setting up and executing market strategies and building the necessary organisational requirements
- Prepared to work with modern communication tools and in international matrix structures and versatile teams
- Strong degree of personal commitment and self responsibility
- High level of stress resistance and willingness to go the extra mile
